Usage Rates
Upper Country Water Improvement District’s rate structure is designed to encourage water conservation while maintaining reliable service for all customers.
Customers who use 10,000 gallons or less of culinary water per month and maintain average water usage should see no change to their bill for usage charges, as this amount is included in the base rate. Usage above this level is billed at tiered overage rates, as shown below.
Customers who use more than 100,000 gallons of culinary water per month will see a higher increase on their monthly bill due to excessive usage. Written notification will be provided on the bill card when the Conservation / Seasonal Peak Usage Fee Schedule is approaching implementation to assist customers in planning and managing water usage.
